Inclined plane.

Holy snakes. It's mid November. There's a draft blowing in from somewhere as I type (although it might just be the fan). Back on topic. Yeah, it's mid November. I am in a race with time. Everything and everything else that happened between the day I last updated and this very second is in a blur. A motionless blur.

A milestone in my life is coming up. Come 24th January, 2010. It is the day that I die. But don't cry for me Angelina. Not just yet. Because, I will be happy, and maybe kinda tipsy too afterwards. Let's just cut to the chase. The Killers will be here. They will be performing. There will be singing. And I will be there. Awesome salty sea dogs. I am a huge fan. Perfect timing. Sorry Bellamy, but I will have to see you some other day.

Bless it be. What about the other aspects of my sordid life? Hmm. Assignments and all, their going on pretty well. Yeah. Meaning I've been completely ignoring them. How I wish I was half as responsible as...anyone I know who's responsible. I'd probably slay all of them assignments. But fret I must. Because the synonymity that is Hazwan Tan and procrastination will continue to live on. Sighs.

What else. Drama has been fun. Performances and drama sessions (and throw in them random drama outings + movie evenings), their all good. It'd be sad to see everything culminating on Alumni Night. The nightliest of all the nights. Sighs again. I see that fast forward button right in front of me. The end of the year is coming. I hate father time.

Today, I skived off school to take some more photos for that photojournalism assignment. Adam was free, so I took him around Changi Airport for a trip. I swear I can draw you a map of that place. Planes are shifty little things. I don't really trust them. Cue the colons (the punctuation mark, not the organ).

Okay. Let's just leave it hanging here. My head's in a cloud. Someone, help me through this hopeless haze. Can't wait for supper.

Friday, June 19
Hibernative.

Wow. It has been awhile since I've emptied my mind on this here blog. A lotta lotta lotta lotta stuff has happened since...the last time I was here. Naturally. Okay. The fundamentals. School ended, about a week ago. Hoorah. What else. Oh, StageArts Camp 09 too. Putri, Dad, Afik and Daniel have had their birthdays. Oh, yeah, have I mentioned, schools over?

Now, I can't deny the fact that my life has taken a turn for the worst. What's new, right? All you anarchic emos, come join me. Violent seas. My boat has officially sunk. You can stop laughing now Tri. Back to reality.

Well, this whole week has surely been a breath of zoo air (cos zoo air is fresh yet imbued with smells of animal excrement). Tuesday saw its last deadline for Term 1. Congratulations to all my fellow design students, let us all revel. God I spent so much money on assignments. It's terrible. I owe Kai and Eun big time for being my loansharks. Please don't vandalize my grandmother's swing if I happen to 'forget' paying you. Gotta remember.

SA Camp was a roller-coaster ride for all too many. To those of you guys involved, congratulations, your hard work paid off. It's over, whohoo! When can we fix a prata date now? I had fun being a senior. Although my group wasn't all that hot (to which I have to apologize), we managed to make it through day three.

Now, it's that time of the year again. I can't believe we are actually halfway past 2009. You can spin a bit slower, Earth. Annual Production 2009 and Semester 1 Term 2 (or is it Term 1 Semester 2?). Woow. I think i'll really cherish this weekend i'm gonna have with Dad. Yeah, I'm staying over his place; Father's day of sorts. I miss you Winatas'.

Yikes, I've left the oven on too long. Better get to my steak. We'll reminisce later.

Anecdotal.

I have been laying low at home for the past five days, all alone with nothing but a movie marathon and some night fun to look forward to this coming weekend. Fehh, here are a few things that I want to blog about, but don't have the diligence to do so in a proper manner. So a list is suffice.

1. My Vaio crashed so I lost all my precious indie movies, Avatar episodes, as well as 3 whole season's
worth of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

2. Peanuts can be well worth their weight in gold (inside joke).

3. Rafa's new girlfriend is smoking hot.

4. Putri's boyfriend is psychotic (XD).

5. I need to pay my phone and internet bills, ASAP.

6. I found a decomposed tofu bit underneath the kitchen island that grew brilliantly coloured fungi.

7. Happy 18th birthday Maxxie boi (19/2), lay off them ciggs, alright?

9. There's this new advertisement promoting a new show on Channel 5 that is making me nervous to
watch Survivor every Friday night.

10. Oh yeah, yahoo, Survivor is starting.

11. I just realized that this list does not have a No. 8.

12. I still owe a lot of people money.

13. I hope Kate Winslet receives an Oscar this year, and I am torn between choosing which film deserves
the Best Picture, Frost/Nixon, The Reader, or yes, Slumdog Millionaire.

14. Of course, Ledger for Best Supporting Actor.

15. I need to get a lot of cash if ever I have to send my dead Vaio down for repairs.

16. I need to go shopping (in a totally un-gay way) with some people to get something for someone.

17. I wonder when will that oven timer ring, i'm starving.

18. Everyone, watch American Idol FTW.

This is what my life has become. A high flying executive's organizer. Well, at least I got no more school.

p.s. tell me if I need to add more steps.

Canned tuna.

I need to update more frequently because my blogger's OCD is getting worse. I have a newfound interest in anything canned and tuna. I just wasted 200 bucks in one week, and it's not even Valentine's yet. And I love people who can comprehend my personality and way of writing because i'd hate another me, i'd bet.

On a much saner note, things are getting a bit better. Smooth sailing ahead.

p.s. I'll update with a proper entry soon. Eat your heart out, princess.

Saturday, December 27
Endgame.

I just bid adieu to my holidays, they are going off for a 1 month vacation to Timbuktu and will only return once i'm stressed out with whatever school has to throw at me, which is like next February. If that paragraph made sense to you then you should be very wary of your mental health.

Anyways, I am yet to complete the assignments that i'm supposed to complete (stop clucking that tongue or it'll fall out) so yes, officially, i'm screwed. The Christmas holidays were great for a fact that I finally got to sleep again. Being home alone was sensational (note my sarcasm), since mom was staying at Uncle Is's I had the whole place to myself. So, I took the opportunity of not having the standard 'wake-up-at-7' rule to sleep in really, really late. Just today, I woke up at 2 in the afternoon. You bet it felt good.

It's been a long while since i've chatted with the others back in Richmond. I heard the junior ice-hockey season just started there so i'll bet their all having fun. Putri if you're reading this, please get that webcam of yours a.s.a.p, (or Sam get her one, haha) I need someone to videoconference with (since something is wrong with our iChat accounts). Although, since were talking to Radenni-denni again probably i'll disturb him.

Yawns, I need to get my body clock in check (remember something about my body clock being evil?). Cheers for one more Sunday!

Sunday, November 30
Sitting duck.

This is an affirmation/declaration:

I am a lazy arse. My room is like a pigsty. My feet smells like prawns. I still need to complete 6 major assignments, all due next week. Yet I still have enough time to laze around with cousin and co. and videochat about dirty things people don't want to talk about.

Carrying on. So, work (I mean school) has been, umm, let me find a suitable adjective...woweepalooza. There are a couple of valuable life lessons i've learnt the past week.

Never ever decide to shift houses the day before we have Joon Kiat's lesson. I think my mom is getting tired of me walking into her home in the middle of the night. I came extremely late for Tuesday's drawing class (by extremely late I mean about 10 minutes late) and got issued a warning letter threatening of my gruesome execution if I don't change my ways. Though bless Joon Kiat for being so horrifyingly understanding.

Another valuable life lesson. Learn to face your demons before leaving the house. If you can't, just do your best. I've had a couple of rough pitfalls in my life (who hasn't) and I've learnt that maintaining a positive front (at the needed times) helps out a lot, both to yourself as well as the people around you. If there are things that do not need to be publicized then try not to be an open book. Have more select channels for alleviating stress, whether it is that helpful friend or that underused journal. I think I still need help in this department, though much thanks for those who care.

Then, there is the most memorable of all the lessons. Wear gloves while using the NT cutter (it's a penknife). Eunice, I feel your pain (and I saw your blood). A design student must protect their hands with all the love and care in the world, am I right or am I right? Haha, get well soon, Eunice's index finger.

Shucks, there goes my Saturday. Now I think I'll stop pretending to be like mom's therapist and start on those bloody contour hands. 30 more to go!

p.s. guess what the evil twins bought for me yesterday. An iPod dock! Just like the one I got them for their birthdays, but with a remote instead! Haha, can't wait for Christmas, I'll be visiting Sobo and Grandpa during the December break. The twins are just killing me. While their off having a second Thanksgiving shopping spree holiday (their in Seattle now, urgh), here I am, dying for just two weeks of break.

I'll just be thankful i'm not going to get bombs dropped on me anytime soon *touches wooden desk*.

Monday, November 10
Petered out.

As usual, I want to blog about every single thing that happened in my life yet lazy Susan keeps pulling me away. Sighs.

Today, I learnt that 'ergonomics' is a brand new synonym for 'ultimate boredom'. Talk about yawns. I practically slept throughout the entire lecture, and from what ive heard so did three-quarters of the class. Sighs. I really hate it when this happens. Virus analysis: D.S.S: Design Student Syndrome. Sighs. The symptoms: You sleep after 2 a.m. every night. Check. You can't sleep anytime before 2 a.m. every night. Check. You sigh a lot. Check. You feel like sleeping for long periods of time during classes. Check. You cringe in fear when you hear the word 'Subrina'. Checkmate.

(If there are more symptoms do alert me, Dr. Tan, ASAP). To keep it short and sweet, I am tired. T-I-R-D'. Kai, tell me a joke about Joon Kiat, the one that killed me just now.

Oh yawns, save me my queen. I know you all are tired too, I hear your sighs, heck, I even dream about sighing. Sighs. Just keep swimming...

Oh dawd.

Oh grinch. Oh pizza. Oh mairu.

I am so tired and lazy to blog about the past 4 days. Maybe I will in another 5-days-in-one blog post. Oh yeah, school has been tiring.

Now I wanna go eat.

p.s. man, that kandarolli song is stuck in my head again.
