Obstacle 1.

The old man in the bus looked tired. His nods so fervent, so violent. Although it made us laugh, I can't help but ponder. Why. Just why, does the world spin? And again, like many times before, silence replied. And again, like many times before, I'll smile to myself. This world is cruel and brilliant.

Part two of my sophomore year in Polytechnic began about a week ago. The assignments came by in droves, and the verdicts stopped short of silence (an understatement). The pit of my stomach wants me to look forward to all of these rather exciting projects. But my brain says no. It's truly a sigh-worthy moment. I don't want to have second thoughts on something I find so intriguing, but again, it is life's way of telling you that there's always multiple chances; like when a sudden pathway opens up in a forest clearing. Would you dare leave the safety of a familiar haven for an unknown future? I'd love to ask for a map, though.

Lets leave chapter two of this long, long story for tomorrows ears. I have drama early morning. Aliens should stay strong.

STOCKHOLM (AFP) - An elderly woman misunderstood instructions while checking in at Sweden's main airport and was whisked down a baggage shoot after she placed herself instead of her luggage on the belt, media reported Wednesday.

The 78-year-old woman, who was not named, was preparing to fly from Stockholm's Arlanda airport to Germany on Tuesday when she lay down on an unmanned baggage belt in the belief she was following check-in instructions, the Upsala Nya Tidning local daily reported on its website. She was quickly swept off to the baggage handling centre, where staff members helped get her back on her feet. The woman suffered no serious injury and caught her flight as planned.

Haha. Funny if she made it all the way to the baggage handler. Gives a whole new meaning to 'excess baggage'.
