Achromatic.

The past few days went by in a blur. A colourless blur, to be exact. I think I need to keep track of the finer details in my life; with each second I swear I hear sounds of disintegrating brain cells, and that's never a good sign. I hope it's not Alzheimer's, I'm too young. Ignore my musings.

I must say, working with the drama juniors was just surreal (what, I love that word). Yeah I know I only came for like, two or three rehearsals with them, but having been put in such an authoritative position once again...it sorta' gave me the jellos. That said, I just want to say that they (especially those in Group 1) did a fine job for their performance at Jurong Point yesterday. I see so much of us (Year 2's) in them. And it's kinda scary. Hahaha.

In other things drama, production rehearsals are still in progress. I need to get myself time to actually practice all of my lines, plus remember all of the things I have to do on stage (movement, facial expressions; it does not come easy). Had rehearsals this morning by the way. Although I promised, I wasn't able to make it for Group 2's performance in the evening (sorry Vicki!). Wonder how the Bangladeshi workers reacted today (haha, like Mardiana and the Ah Pek). I suddenly miss rehearsing dance steps for drama skits. Which brings us to...

Thriller. Yes, I still can't believe that the Michael Jackson is gone. Just like that. He was such a massive influence in people's lives (you gotta be like made outta stone to not be) that his passing actually came as a personal blow, to many. I feel so proud knowing all of those Thriller dance steps. This only makes that loss stronger. May he continue to live on in our limbs. Sigh.

Another thing. School's out for one more week. I hope nothing gets serious though, everything important is coming up. Swine flu, be nice. Grandmother dear won't let me go to school, unless of course, I lie to her. Haha. For the rest of this week, I just ask for three things: my body clock, a movie date, and some quality alone time with my reflection and a good book.

Oh, I smell burnt pita bread. Gotta go. The man in the mirror is hungry.

I just had to end it off like that. Jeez.

Shadowplay.

Last week.

School seemed to slip by me, for no apparent reason. My assignments had to wait for just a little bit longer, I needed more time to clear my head (something more people should learn to do, remember what Mr Tan K. S. said, VC0ers).

Some of the nights were spent preparing for StageArts Night 2009. Acting and bitching are soothing pastimes, try them out for effective stress loss. Back on topic, the event (held at the NYP Amphitheater) was a jolly-good success. To those involved, (especially the Blower's daughter, mother, husband and friends) don't beat yourselves up for all the whatshould'vebeens and whatnots, it's over, they loved it, kudos. Chandra, mukaa.

Now, that frog in my throat, it probably got stuck there on it's way out as it was passing through my uvula. A dry cough, it's not nice to have one. Or a thousand.

The new week came. I can't believe were almost halfway through 2009. The winds of change are blowing in our faces, they've never been this strong. If something hits you hard, just wipe it off. I got most of my queries for the various assignments answered today; week 8 couldn't come faster enough. Boy, all these negative vibes. I'll be a Phoebe Buffay and say that all this bad chi is bad for you, mother. Think straight. Nothing's worse than a helpless spirit submerged in the depths of irony. God.

For what seems like the umpteenth time, the computer speaks. I know it's ten. Ok. I'll go.

Zzz.

Sunday, April 26
Sophomore.

The first week of the new semester was a blast, as compared to the last one. Preparations for Club Crawl 2009 were awesomely fun and tiring, as usual. School-wise, it's been pretty much subdued (partly because I only attended 2 days of it). Let's just say, I think I'm ready for what the new term has to offer (or throw at) us.

I am very displeased with the current situation of the 'Two Levels' of Design (notice how I appropriately NOT used the term 'School'). It is getting very claustrophobic now that they've added dividers to most of our rooms to incorporate the sudden influx of SDN freshmen. Though I don't know why I am complaining when children in Nairobi study in noticeably worse conditions (here comes that punch again).

The new modules were so so. We got new ones that seem nice, though I was not present for the most of them. Maybe I should analyze everything when I've a chance to actually attend a full week of school, sans interruptions (next week I suppose).

Not saying that preparing for Club Crawl was an interruption. It was probably one of the most fun times we've had in school, as Stage Arters. Everything from the set-up of the booth, to the rehearsals for our performance (which went on weeks prior to club crawl I might add), was painstakingly well thought out. Though it was rough that we got an invisible trophy, we did manage to recruit a lot of people, so, congratulations to everyone involved. Bring on the juniors.

And finally, I know I have been such a lazy donkey kong blogger the past few weeks, but I will try my best not to be that lazy donkey kong, and start replying to your precious tags, Putri.

Saturday, April 18
Journey to success.

After weeks upon weeks of practice, practice and more practice (ee so cliche), I can say with utmost Rafa-ish pride that the end result (Thursday's & Friday's SBM & SHS Orientation SA performances respectively) turned out, pretty good. A. Men.

The past 2 or 3 so weeks have been dope (tiring dope, work and badminton matches with Maxxie aside). Rehearsals were tiring, albeit, we did have a lot of fun. This past week, even more so. The fatigue was just killer. Groans. However, the adrenaline pumping through your veins, knowing that in a few days/hours you'll get to perform what you've been practicing hard for, it's just...priceless. (Mastercard moment everybody).

And then came Thursday.

It was divine. Performing in front of close to a thousand people. Probably an opportunity that'll be very hard to come by now that it's gone. Sniffs. Damn, there's no need for tissues, woosies.

All of my co-actors, they did amazingly well. Kudos, kudos. SHS Orientation on Friday was all the more better; it was a full auditorium. But we managed to pull it off. Hearing the audience laugh at your lines, it's just so pleasing, to the soul. Sniffs. Aaaaaaah. They all better join Drama if not they should all die. I'll make sure.

Ok, now back to a different reality. New term begins next week, and I am quite perky, by pre-term period standards. We still have a lot of work to do (drama people), Club Crawl 09', you shall be conquered (what was that). It's gonna be another busy week, though I predict it will actually be not as bad as we think. All of you freshen up for school; come on, not everyone in the world can afford something like this, so be grateful, you idiots (don't you feel like punching me now?). Of course you do. Hehe I am such a bitch.

So, in the words of a very, very smart, philosophical and selfless sage: I am the dragon slayer, and thus I shall slay the dragon. (Or whatever that self-proclaimed douchebag Coach from Survivor Tocantins said).

Cheerios.

Friday, December 19
Glitz.

Alumni Night 2008 was fun. I'll update with a real entry soon. Stay tuned for pictures.

(EDIT: 10:55 PM DECEMBER 22)

Okay, so here's what happened last Thursday. I finally mustered up enough mojo to drag my butt down to school to help out for StageArts Alumni Night 2008. I felt kinda' bad, doing absolutely nothing at home the past few days and stuff like that, so helping out with the decorations and all of the behind the scenes work sort of helped eased my guilt. Everything was brisk; all of us helped out a bit with the decor and the props, the usual pre-performance routine. I had to do a bit of last minute, umm, rehearsals, with Hanaffi, and then I think I remembered eating a bit of KFC.

Well, it must've been nerve-wrecking for the year 2's; a bit of background info, Alumni Night is the night during which current year 3 committee members, including the current line-up of heads for the respective CCAs as well as the organization's leaders, pass on their roles to the year 2's. So, we all had our different opinions on who would get the said roles, especially that of Drama Head and President (club politics, meow).

Anyway, the plays themselves were great. Good job to everyone who've put in their best efforts for such an event, yadda yadda yadda, you've put on quite a show, wooah, wooah...(i swear i don't know where that came from).

So, after all the gayness and hot model struts and games and such, the moment everyone had been waiting for finally came. Congratulations to Kaye and Ilham, for getting the roles of Drama Head and Assistant Drama Head respectfully. And kudos to Yatassha and Liyana (Yana sexy) for bagging the Club President and Vice-President (or assistant President?) positions. Were all rooting for you guys, and good luck for the upcoming year!

And i'll have another entry soon. Pictures on the left!

p.s. what happened on that night is to remain on that night. Haha, whatever that meant, but SHUDDDUP AMA (laughs).

Tuesday, November 4
Vampires will never hurt you.

Okay, enough of the emotional rubbish. Here's the long awaited Halloween Nite 08 entry, four days late. Disclaimer: this is one of those 'get-it-over-and-done-with' kinda posts, so just bear with the lack of enthusiasm.

Vampire vampire vampire, chess. Vampire ling ling bla bla whatever, hahaha.

Okay. The mourning of All Hallow's eve (get it get it, mourning?). Haha yawns. So there I was, cabbing to school with Subrina's dead weight of an assignment in hand, and a huge bag of costumes and props in the other. Ama and me were supposed to help out with the hallowen decorations (we were in E308 by the way) but instead we had to focus more on completing our assignments, which were due that evening. Pressure. The scene: bits of paper and tape scattered everywhere, drawing tools tossed unceremoniously to one corner, and the sick scent of cow gum and sticky tape wafting off in the AC. The life of design students, sigh. Luckily, the other stage arters were there to help with the decorations as well as our assignments. Sorry and thanks guys! (we really had no time at all to finish it the day before).

So it was hectic. Hmm, what else. I remember loud, blaring hip-hop and techno music - Theatre Management was testing out the audio - and of course the occasional (i'm sorry, I meant continuous) laughter. And I also remember being kinda pissed off with stuff later in the afternoon, during project submission. Ooooh. Sorry-worree Ama! (sorry-worree?). Yesiree. Basically, we were stressed out. Yawns. Maybe I gotta learn how to be like Dass and chill brothaa! Lol.

Well, after a short rest period during make-up and hair, it was back to the rehearsals. Wow. From this point onwards, it was a mixture of anticipation, worry, happiness, embarrassment (Ina saw me in make-up, haha!), and hunger for me. Tick tock, I should've blogged about this days ago, now i'm feeling bored. Haha. Okay, yadda yadda yadda, the cow jumped over the moon, and everyone got their freak on with their either scary or kinky costumes and such; cool lads, pretty girls, pretty boys, pretty she-boys, that sort of thing. Before I knew it, it was time.

Kudos to the entire creative team responsible for the sexy spooky decor. The entire place looked freaky great, the haunted walkway thingy was a hit. Either that, or the audience were woosies. Now for our performances. Group 1 did jolly good, jolly good! The play's trannies (especially Amin) traumatised us again. Everyone was laughing like mad, so obviously, well done. After their play it was the senior's turn. I laughed like Spongebob and a piece of paper during their skit (don't worry if you didn't get that, neither did I). Before you knew it, it was time for jang jang jang jang. Yes, after what felt like an eternity later, it was finally our group's turn. Lights, camera, actionnnnn.

That stage. Those lights. Woweepalooza. My first sorta major-ish role with lines. How was it? Well, in short - glitches, mistakes, and an overdose of laughter. Oh. My. Pizza. The murmur of nervous laughter. Though it wasn't a perfect skit, I just want to applaud (loudly) to everyone of you group 2ers. I hate the way I fidget too much during monologues, not to mention how raspy my voice went (I know how I looked and sound, I saw the video!). Well, it feels terrible knowing you could've done more, given in that added umpf and stuff like that, but in the end, I still don't regret anything, because like what all the seniors have been saying, you guys did the most you could have ever done. So seniors, thank you for being so appreciative. We really do appreciate you guys. Haha. Well after that, then, what else? Partaaay time! (ew, cheesy).

I was supposed to come as the psycho axe-boyfriend (get it get it) but someone took my axe (Don't worry, I got it back at the end of the party. Now I can use it to cut open my papayas, brilliant.).

Though the after-party dance went a bit too far (the place was a mess, sorry senior seniors!), we all managed a get-back-together-were-not-mad-at-anyone hug at the end. What a lovely family, us, really *wipes fake tear off eyelid*. Hahaha. Well, after cleaning up the huge mess and returning the props, we all said our goodbyes, and I cabbed home with Vicki and Sheila. Yes, that's all that happened. The ghosts came flying in and out just like that, haha.

Now now, wait. I smell food. Sniff sniff. Italian food. Yummmy. Auntie is getting busy in the kitchen. I'll talk about school later. For now, the kitchen calls!

Wednesday, October 29
Sorry.

When words fail, the pen takes over. Or in this case, the keyboard does...

Wow. First and foremost, I would like to apologize to all of my stage arters for being such a fcuktard tonight. I definitely was, so don't console me on that (haha). Okay. Statement 1. It's peculiar how the human brain works, how my brain works. Well, I for one hate the fact that some of my emotions just seem to be locked up, for good. It makes me feel weak, being unable to feel, unable to cry. At one point in my life, I started to welcome this bizzare anomaly as a blessing; ignorance is bliss, as you may like it. But I just realised, only today, that sometimes, ignorance is just bliss in disguise.

Statement 2. It is also wonderfully intruiging how God carries out his plans. For today, I had experienced something so undescribably (insert unknown adjective here), to the point where it affected me so, so very deeply, till even Suma and her infectious laughter failed to make me laugh (I know, freaky). To that person who had a hand in helping me through such a revealing moment, I really can't thank you more. It is definitely a blessing in diguise. Speaking of which, a mask. Never hide behind one - ever. Because, what I just realised, false facades might offer temporary relief, but what hides underneath is what really matters.

I love my mother, and my father, equally. More than ever, and I never ever want to compromise my love for them by looking into the past. What matters is, the future is standing right in front of me. That is all I can say.

Now, finally, something lighthearted. The ability to laugh, is definitely what I love about people. The usual bus people. You all rock, as in roccck. Who knew the source of new joy can come, so easily somewhat, from maple eyes (hahaha). If not for you guys and your smiles, I would be worse than that guy in the MCR music video. Hahahaha. I laughed a bit too much at that.

Okay, so, as I end off, I apologize. I hope I don't sound too clingy and gross. I wish everyone good luck for Friday night. I want to remember. I want to feel. I want to do.

Reliving.

The undead takes over. So, on Saturday, we had our final run-through of our Halloween performances shown to the seniors. Though it wasn't our exact best, I know that all of us can do better, so keep it up guys.

After drama, the peckish amongst us headed to Pizza Hut for some serious brunching and gossip girl, x.o.x.o (Suma's new catchphrase). Haha, don't ask. The drama mamas and papas made my day; you guys make me laugh more than any MadTV or SNL skit, rock on! (Oh yeah, dang, that was also when I realized that I had left my earphones back at the room where we had our full run-throughs. Damn it. I hope somebody finds it, cos' if I have to get a new pair it would be like the third one in less than 2 months. Sigh.).

Sunday was a blast. Since I had promised Sabrina a date, we decided to go out for a bit of reminiscious rendezvous. So, we headed down to Lido Orchard for some reel-watching. After booking tickets for The Coffin, we window-shopped a bit at the Apple store at Wheelock and checked out the new toys they had. The new macbooks were actually quite nice to look at, and I am so totally in love with the super thin nanos. After that was the usual Borders laugh session (though quite lacklustre because our favourite Yo' Momma joke book was gone). After getting our food, it was movie time.

We missed the first few minutes of the show because of all the food-related delays (we had a large coke, 2 hotdogs smeared with chili and mustard, a plate of nachos and cheese, and a bag of Twisties, all for only two people to carry to the theatre). That said, time for reviews. Script-wise, the movie was a mess. But I'd watch it solely for the 2 or 3 surprise scenes and the brilliant cinematography. Other than that, the movie left Ina and me scratching our heads. The movie made me think a bit about life. A bit only. If you are on the verge of killing yourself, I advise you from watching it. Because, everything about the movie, from the incandesent quality of lighting, combined with a grim theme, sombre cinematography, and a depressing score exudes more melancholy than an emo boy at a poetry read. Rent a DVD instead.

Other than that, I had a really great time with Ina. I missed all those times we had together, and we sure need to do this more often. And Ina, you can borrow my DS anytime you like, haha.

Oh yeah, before I forget, I want to wish Deepavali valthukal to all of my Hindu pals. Tomorrow, I am definitely going to have Briyani for lunch.

p.s. The Aku suka Orang Minyak song by Suma is stuck in my head. But heck, I don't want to get it out. Haha.

Crawl away.

I hate it the way ants come crawling into your favourite grape kool-aid every now and then. They tell you that they're hardworking, loving, and even funny (Antz, A Bugs Life), but I see right through them. What they are, are irritating, lame, and usless black bozos that just want to win everything and ruin your life.

Prologue over, for now.

Let's see, Thursday, (after Typography, where we got new assignments to do) I finally had a chance to grab a much awaited lasting peek at the ever so appraised Sunplaza Mall. Then we all went to shop and eat at Causeway Point for awhile before Woo's fun Model Making class, where we learnt how to make boxes. Trust me, it is actually a very rewarding and pleasing task. Drama on Thursday was less violent than usual, we had a go at practicing our characterization instead of all the 'physical' scenes, if you know what I mean.

And thank you for the awesome notebook, LR and Haz. Another one for my library! Haha.

Friday was a drag, though in a fun way (no, not drag queen, Amin). The new assignment for Studio Project is actually quite interesting. After a short lunch break, we got our butts down to LTQ9 for Design History. It was bearable, but only because I had like eight hours of sleep the night (and day) before. No drama, so Ama and me had a chance to ciao in the sun, for what seemed like years, hahaha.

I miss my favourite people in the world. The ones that make you laugh for a solid reason. Please, save me from this bad disaster movie, Putri, hahaha.

p.s. Drama in a few hours, big show ahead.

Wednesday, October 22
3 days.

I am as tired as heck. I guess we all are, right? Before I start my rant, I just wanna applaud all my poly friends (as well as the others who are pursuing their 'A's) for working so, so hard. Life is heck. But dealing with problems, sadly, is part and parcle of life. Yes, I know, I suck up to people a lot.

Okay, well, the start of this week came in a hushed whisper. More like in a demonic laugh I guess (those who know, just laugh). After 1 day of rest, it was back to the same ole usual schedule.

Monday was so-so. Made boxes in Chevady's then had actual fun during Mr. Ng's drawing class, playing with watercolour effects. Halloween Night rehearsals are on every single (weekday) evening, till the big night. I have not fully felt my character, yet, no matter how much I look like one.

On Tuesday, I came in 7 minutes late for Joon Kiat's drawing class. Well, personally, I feel his disciplinary methods for us are a tad bit off. Moshi moshi, were in poly, and we have rock hard egos (well most of us). I feel it unwise to have that kind of attitude (in relation to 'discipline') around students. Yes it makes you seem high and mighty respectable but if students hate you, then of course, that would do more harm than good. Halloween Night rehearsals are getting violent. David, hang in there. And of course, happy birthday to Eunice! (drama) You rock!!

Tuesday night, frantic. Studio Project. Colour studies - another last minute assignment.

Today started off with hectic-ness and ended off in unity (drumrolls). Our SP (studio project) presentation, no matter how messy and last minute it was, turned out barely well. Good job, people. I love you. After a brief rest period (colour studies) it was back to heck, with Photography class, the submission of the SP cd, and drama. And I managed to squeeze everything within a few hours. Klappa klappa for me. One thing I would like to add, I do pity you, Mr. Ayob, really, for being so misinformed. Agreed, first impressions leave quite a huge mark, but obviously, what you see in my character is doubtfully, untrue. So please, bug me, not ever again, I hope. Affirmation: I can suck up to people, yes, but only up to a certain extent--.

Wow, rehearsals are indeed tiring. I do miss going back early (as in, while the sun is still out), but I guess its something I just have to live with from now on. I have been desperately trying to find the right time to research on my characterization and movement. Thanks to those whove helped me out, a lot. And thanks for the vampire teeth, David, i'll keep them wet for you good. Hahaha.

Before I go become freaky once more, I just want to acknowledge the fact that just now's (well, yesternight's, technically) daily bus wait was ullllltraaaaa draggy. Had to wait for 4o+ minutes for kandarolli's sake. Though another thing to note, Vicki and I had a lot of fun disturbing some month in the bus. Hahahaha, *evil laugh*.

Later, I am going to give myself a treat and sleep early. I hope tomorrow the stress wears off a bit. Adios, alibaba.

p.s. thanks for keeping my file, July!

Friday, October 10
Beautiful minds.

The culmination of weeks upon weeks of hard work. I think you guy's who've experienced just now's event know just what I mean. 1, 2, 3, sighhhhhhhhhhhhsssssss together!

Okay, here's how today went:

Well, I woke up at around half-past-six in the morning today (thanks, July and Vicki for being my alarm clocks), bathed, got decent, then met Vicki at the interchange. MRT-ed with her and Sheila De Lion (who came in at Eunos by the way) all the way to school.

So, everyone was waiting for everyone else at the club room. Had the pre-performance chitter-chatter. (Yeah, as usual, we talked about funny and random stuff, like Britney Spear's younger sister, whatsherface...) Anyway, soon it was time for us to get 'serious'. Make-up and hair for about 2 hours, thanks again to you's make-up crewers for putting up with us; they make us people look as purdy as possibly can, and by purdy for me I mean like a 'chinonek Best Denki salesman' purdy, right David? *blows raspberry*... and oh yah, THANKS AH for my sexy hairstyle, Arathi, Wawa and Andy & Weave, you you three mumu's you (haha, I hope they won't ever get to read that). Tick tock, the clock...

Ok, now, can I fast-forward a bit?, survivor my hot show is going to start soon, hahaha.

Okay okay, after the hoopla (or should I say after make-up, cause the 'hoopla' never really ends, haha!) we all got our buttocks to the sports complex (is that what you call it?) for jang-jang-jang-jang.....

One word: Woweepalooza. The people from minds were truly adorable. I don't know why we call them the less fortunate. Having not a single effing care in the world (I guess) about, how you look like, or, whether you are going to embarrass yourself in front of people, that kind of thing, coupled with the fact that you really seem to enjoy life, it's just a very, very moving thing to see (for me). I guess God gives everyone their own blessings, one way, or another.

Then, the moment we've all been waiting for came... The play, as you know it, duh, was awesome (hunble, humble). Haha. Although it wasn't perfect, I am glad that the MINDs-ers (wow, what a word) appreciated our skit, and were (more than) enthusiastic about joining in. After it ended, and after we got a short breather, it was time to boogey. Woe betide me if EVER in the world photos of our 'little' dance get shown or published somewhere. Hey but seriously, from the bottom of my broken heart: Being there and interacting with those guys actually was the best part of the day for me, it was...it was....bittersweet.

(God, I wish I am less lazy, enough to actually post photos.)

Just like that, the show ended. Well, after putting back everything (props, costumes) in the club/store room, we all ate. Me, like there's no tomorrow. Munch munch munch. Super-July and Suma brought us a beautiful cake too, for all the beautiful September babies). We all are really touched by everything being done for us (I am!). Arigatou kasih!

And before I forget, I want to say a HUGE thank you from the bottom-of-my-apparently-handle-with-care-broken-glass-heart (that should be, a song or something) to the directors of the play, July, Vicki and Hanaffi. For all the e-mails, wake-up calls, hushes and shushes, and everything in between, you guys rock my world man (Haha). For all the seniors, especially Kaye, for being so dedicated, and wanting to see our little thing succeed. You guys are da' atomic bomb! (And aww for Kaye and her little note to us guys! Ang baiiiiit mo, talaga!). And of course, a standing ovation to everyone involved in this performance. You've put on quite a show (whooooahhh...whooooahhh).

Okay, and survivor started 5 minutes ago... So ciao for now.

EDIT: Survivor starts at 11 today, bummer.

Hahaha. Snagglepuss.

Smelling salt.

I don't know just how I am going to adjust to the rigours of school life once again. Yes, semester 2 starts next Monday, and judging by the timetable (released just at the perfect time to calm my spirits) for the new term, I don't think I can adjust. At all.

This narcolepsy is indeed sliding into another nightmare. Doctors say that we should have at least a week's worth of 'training our body clocks' to ensure that it will wake us up at the right time every day. I tried that last year, but apparently my body clock is evil.

Argh. Anyways, went for drama rehearsals on Monday. Everything was just peachy, our play got much better, so all in all, good job. Oh yeah, 'twas Hani's birthday too, so we celebrated at the start with some vanilla cake. And yes, never, ever, bring in any type of cake, pie, confectionery or sweets within an arm's distance of Hanaffi.

Tuesday (today) was rest day. Woke up at 1 p.m. I had to buy the groceries, because mom never has the time to cook again these days, what more bother with the groceries (yes, im staying at my house again). Got some chicken breasts, potatoes, and a couple of baguettes for making Devil's curry (got the recipe from Tri). Okay, this is a message to every spice lover out there. If you truly are a spice lover, and not just a spice lover because you think it's cool, you should arm yourself with at least a bottle's worth of Cayenne pepper. Cayenne. Have it in any spicy sauce or curry, and trust me, the result, is beyond, as in beyond, death. Ah...yeaah.

So after eating and cleaning up the mess in the kitchen, I watched the telly a bit. Chatted with dad on the phone during his tea break (wow, all those company perks), then before I knew it the doorbell rang, and mom said 'hi'. I had told her not to bring home take-away because of all the food we already had. Well, im glad that were back to our old selves. Good for us.

Oh, gotta check on the fish sitting in the oven. Were having salmon for supper. Wan out!

Weekend.

This weekend was like, one whole mini-week for me.

Friday, I went over to Tri's house (where im staying now). She had to finish up an important assignment for poly (way to go, leave it till the last minute, haha) so I had to entertain Afik and Sasha (Daniel was at Nyai's). They were both hungry, so we ordered KFC. The new spicy drumlets they have were superb, I especially loved the thai-flavoured variety (drumsticks that taste like thai people, ew, sounds sick, =). After that, I just turned up the AC, and left the kiddos to their drawings. Shasha has a habit of calling me an artist, whenever I doodle something gross, just because im in design school, and that's hilarious.

In the evening, when Tri became less patient of the noise (haha, we were playing DJ), I brought the both of them down to the playground to...well, play. Haha, I thought I might have wanted to join them but there were secondary school students walking around us everywhere so I didn't want to make myself look like a fool (shut up, Tri =P).

After Tri was done (or after she had given up) with her assignment, we left the kiddos to watch Foster's on their laptop, while we ate what's left of the chicken (we got the 10 piece meal, haha). Slept like babies.

Saturday was tiring, though it always has been. Had drama rehearsals in the morning through the afternoon, for the MINDs play coming soon. We had to bring in and out the props as it was a full-dress rehearsal. Acting like a nerd is as boring as being one. I don't know, and I definitely don't see how you can find that entertaining, so, don't complain if you are not! (entertained). I absolutely loved Neela's bimbo character the most, she made me giggle worse than an eight year old girl in the presence of one of the Jonas Sisters (whoops).

Anyway, after a crazy laughter session with those who stayed back at Mac, I got home and changed. My extended family was going out to Nyai's sister's place. Wow, Nyai and her siblings create some of the best comfort dishes ever. The whole buffet had an Armenian touch to it, of course, with some Russian desserts that I had never tasted before. I basically just sat in one small corner of the house with my aunts and uncles (the kiddos were running around in the balcony) small-talking. There were so many people I didn't know, from my grand uncle's family (who were mostly those Arab types). (I heard sometime ago that they disliked my grandmother and grand aunt because Arabs are supposed to hate Armenians). Though of course, it was Eid, and we all played nice, hahahahaha.

Gosh, after all the hoopla, I found myself more than thankful of my very own bed (well, guest bed to be exact). Chatted with some people (oh my god, Neela, chatting with you makes me wanna MadTv all day, lols!) including my dad. I was kinda' surprised to see him online, so we had a quick chat before turning in (he wanted me to stay over his place tomorrow, but I can't, having rehearsals, see).

I just woke up to find Afik's face barely 2 inches away from mine. Haha. Gonna brunch soon. Wonder what im going to do later....Maybe a trip to Giant, whoohoo.

Man, I get pleased so easily,

Pins & needles.

I am tired. Met drama people today to get materials from Art Friend Taka. Then met up with more of them at school to make 5 bushes. Ciaoed with Vicki (but her mapillai wasn't there though) on 72.

Shasha (whom I had tutored rather intensively yesterday for 4 hours, the total of two day's worth of lessons) passed her English test, got the highest in fact. That's my girl.

Having auditions for Halloween Nite tomorrow at noon. Can't wait for princess fart to come back this Sunday.

Hope she got that milk soap I wanted.

<< The dramas' back on >>

YAYYY. After a long, long break I get to finally see all my monster drama beyotches again. And the first thing they say to me: "PUNDEKKKKK!!!!!"

I miss that.

HAHA. Anyways yeah today we learnt about storyboarding and imagination (yeah it sounds so barney). And a lesson on discoloured jungle animals and pink (AHEM). HAHA. So now i'm a pink pundek. HAHAHA.

I had this strong sense of deja vu just now while Anjana's doing the imagine game. Then I realised, yeah, this happened during that lying conman Adam Khoo's course. First I wanted to think about Dad, but again all the chemicals in my brain kept pointing my thoughts to mom instead. I guess I really do take advantage of her presence and being that whenever I think about someone who will be sorely missed, it was always her. Anyways, I guess we all should be thankful of our loved ones and such, cos' you will never know what might happen to them in the future.

On a more cheerful and less pessimistic note, I went to AFGHANISTAN to make July's spectacles. YAY, finally huh! Juls, I am TERRIBLY sorry for losing them in the first place and the guilt of knowing you had to take all your exams w/o any vision aids will haunt me forever.

Had a look at a lot of cool frames. Maybe I'll make a new pair there in the future too. After that, we went taxi hunting so that Juls can go home. Lesson learnt, do not go taxi hunting at 6 in the evening in the middle of an August shower. Had a nice chat along the way. Then after she got one I went straight home and slept till 10. And now my migrane is gone. Hoorah for that.

As for now, so long, and good night.
